Breastfeeding & pregnant

I currently have an 11 month old & I'm 8 weeks pregnant. My husband & I planned to become pregnant by our sons first birthday but I didn't really give much thought to still breastfeeding while being pregnant. Now I know moms do it all the time but is there a chance I could dry up before baby number two comes along? If I wean my son off will I dry up & then produce again after our second is born? Or will I always produce & will have to pump because of my hormones? I mean how does this work?
