Cramps before or after you have ovulated/are ovulating?

That is the question?! I have a gut feeling I most likely ovulated last week, mid week (3-5th June) due to CM signs and feeling extra frisky so of course we BD'd every other day that whole week including last night. However, as of yesterday I had mild lower cramps to my left side on and off all day and today as well. What does this mean?! Haha I feel I am learning something new everyday with my body TTC it's crazy! Thanks in advance, ladies!😝
