Should I tell or keep my mouth shit?

Lastnight my SO and I we're hanging out with a few friends and got to talking and our guy friend started complaining about his wife. He was saying he's not happy and how he doesn't even want to be with her? He was drinking at the time so I don't know if he was just drunk and venting. I'm friends with his wife and not sure if I should tell her my husband told me to just leave it alone but a part of me thinks it's not right for her husband to bash her to our friends?

If you're friends with him I would talk to him while he's sober to get better insight...if he still feels that way I would encourage him to talk to his wife...if he doesn't but continues to complain to you guys I would tell her...sometimes u risk losing a friend being one...

Marriage is rough sometimes. We all have low points. I would encourage the husband to talk to his wife about their relationship if he is truly unhappy.

I think you shouldn't say anything right now if it happens again then I would say somthing. He could have been upset with her and maybe been in a fight with her and him being drunk he was just saying things he didn't mean.

No. If the was admitting to cheating on her, beating her, etc., that's one thing. Venting to friends is totally different. It's not your place to say anything.

Don't say anything. Chances are you'll lose your friend and your husband will lose a friend and you'll have an unneeded fight/argument on your hands. If he was cheating I could see you saying something but truthfully it's no really your place

I'm sure it's really upsetting to know your friends husband is talking bad about her. Keep in mind though that it isn't your marriage and you don't have the right to intervene (unless physical abuse is happening). You'd hate to loose her friendship if you intervened and said the wrong thing.

Every time I've been the messenger I lost a friend. Even when I told that friend her man(whom was my best friend) was mega cheating & she should get out, they turned it against me & I lost them both.

Keep your mouth shut. He was drunk and his words can't be trusted. Maybe they just had an argument that day or, in his head, was mixing her up with somebody else.... or maybe he was stating exactly how I felt. You can't know for sure. Just leave it be and forget about it. If he actually feels that way it'll come out eventually but don't go sticking you nose where doesn't belong (aka someone else's marriage) otherwise you're causing a lot of problems and could potentially ruin a marriage. Mind yah bidnas.
