Is there anything wrong with rhyming kids names?

Hi, I'm expecting my second baby girl. My daughter is called Mia and my partners daughter is called Leah and we'd like to call our daughter Sophia. Do you think there is anything wrong with this?

There are twin girls in my son's gymnastics class that are named Ella and Ellie. They don't rhyme but to me that's pretty much the same name used twice.

I wouldn't do Leah & Sophia because of the home based tiered marketing jewelry company Lia Sophia. (They are out of business now, but still...) that's just me :)

My old boss had three girls. Savannah, Hannah and Joanna. I thought it was funny and cute.

I look at it this way. Name the kid whatever you want. Especially as a mom after all the pain of labor you have every right to name them whatever you wish. Rhyme away besides they are cute names. Lol just be careful when they are in trouble with the names being so close you don't want to yell the wrong name. Lol my mom did that with us and our names didn't rhyme and there were 4 boys I am the only girl.

If it's on purpose it's a little silly but either way it's still cute. I say who cares, go for it! I love the name Sophia. Two of my friends just had their baby girls and named them Sophia.

I have heard from other moms that rhyming names are more difficult for parents than names that start with the same letter!
