Femara success?

Looking for success stories using femara.. The RE was down talking it compared to clomid but clomid didn't work for me so I'm trying this med now..

I have PCOS and did several rounds of Clomid, up to 150mg, had awful side effects including super thin lining that didn't allow an egg to implant, my follicles struggled to grow, and I did ovulate but didn't conceive.
 I've done 4 rounds of Femara and have conceived twice from it! One ended in miscarriage and the other is going strong at 27 weeks. Almost no side effects from Femara and fabulous follicle growth and lining. My dr told me that Femara is actually out of your system faster than Clomid and works better for people with PCOS. It certainly did for me! My last successful round I did 7.5mg for cd3-8. I highly recommend it :)

I have PCOS also and I tried clomid at 50 mg and it didn't help but give me a menstrual cycle three times back to back. Right now I'm on my third cycle of Femara. I ovulated all three times so hopefully this time we end up pregnant. Baby dust to you!!

I personally did server all rounds of clomid. We got pregnant in July but unfortunately miscarried in September partially due to thin lining which the clomid didn't help. We did our first round of femara in Jan. and are now 21 weeks pregnant. :-) praying for you and your journey.

I'm on my TWW after first round of 5mg Femara. I have pcos and failed Clomid 50 and 100mg. This is the first time I've had a positive opk. Keeping my hopes up! Good luck to you.

I have PCOS as well and have been ttc for 6 years. I recently started going to a new doctor who is now doing follicle tracking by ultrasound. I had failed clomid attempts at 50, 100 and 150mg so the put me on femera, 5 mg and then she did a step up when I didn't quite respond(but still bigger follicles than I had with clomid)7.5 mg, two mature follicles first cycle, O confirmed by blood test. Second cycle now, again two mature follicles, O confirmed by blood test this week. Now we wait, hoping for BFP!! So, I definitely recommend trying femera if clomid hasn't been working for you!
