Fetal Doppler two heart beats???

Question

My mother in law bought me a fetal Doppler I have issues going to the doctor due to my age my fetal Doppler picked up two heart beats different heart rates me and my fiancé are courious if it could be twins seeing as they run on both sides of the parents??? Help us figure it out and I have my first ob appointment in a week so I should see then but I'll be dying to know till then any thoughts would help pleas

Could be your own heartbeat or uterine artery....or you never know it may be twins ;-) xx

One is your heart beat. You have an artery that runs right there on the side. I pick mine up every time I find out baby's

What were the heartbeats? If one was less than 120 it was likely your own. Also the "whooshing" sound on either side is your uterine artery...I know my baby moves around super quick and there could be a 10-20 bpm difference depending on how active he is so it's always a possibility you could be having twins-just make sure that it's actually a baby's heart rate you're picking up....good luck!!

Idk. Mine use to pick up two with my son all the time. I just wouldn't go by that. Hope you find answers soon though!

The dr estimate is 15 weeks I think I'm a little less but more then 10 weeks for sure ones around 145 the others 167ish my heart rate I found to but doing it just now I still find two different heart rates on opposite sides one left one right

How far along are you? Mine are really difficult to pick up because I have to really search around for them. Could be!

Try watching sons YouTube videos to hear the different sounds you can pick up. One might be the placenta

The artery that runs through just to the side of your belly should pick up a beat about 120, less than 100 is yours, babies should be 130s and up. If it's picking up 2 watch a clock and count the beats for 20 seconds then multiply that number by 3 and that will give you the BPM. It is possible that it could be twins, but you could also be picking up other things. I have a recording where I picked up mine and baby's heartbeats together, it's really neat. But now baby likes to hang near that artery so I almost always pick up that artery as well.

One is most likely your heartbeat and ones babies. You usually hear the echo of your heart and you can also pick up the pulse from your veins.
