I need Tips for being on top!!

Slightly self conscious, and new here, so posting anonymously. I want to be on top. I don't mind it and every now and then my husband and I try. He has wide hips so it makes it hard for me to...get traction?....I have tried "sliding" back and forth with my hips and bouncing with my legs but it doesn't seem to do much for him and wears me out fast. How can I get more stimulation for him and help him enjoy relaxing and letting me do the work? He usually ends up just pulling me down and thrusting into me.....not sure what are good things for being on top. Any advice is welcome. Thanks!!! :)
