Intersitial Cystitis

Hi ladies

So I was just diagnosed with IC. I went to the urologist yesterday after feeling like I had a uti for about a month now. I had several urine cultures done within that time at my baby appointments and as well as going to urgent care.

All that was done was a urine culture which came back negative like always. He diagnosed me just based off of that.

Is there other tests to be sure that this is the condition I have?!

I am a worry wart and am worried being that this is the only test he did especially since I'm pregnant! I don't want to miss anything bigger that may be going on and can affect the baby.

I don't have any of the pelvic pain or pain during sex. The only symptoms I have is the feeling of urgency and the trickling when I use the restroom. I am looking for advice from Mommies who also have IC. Thank you for all and any responses.
