Braxton Hicks?

Yesterday evening while I was laying down watching TV I got an almost painful feeling around my pubic bone. It was uncomfortable and felt like pressure, almost like a gas bubble stuck there. After a moment it would pass and then happened again a few minutes later, maybe 3-4 times in a half hour or so. Was that Braxton Hicks? Baby boy is head down already so I'm not sure if that's what it was or if he was just in a weird position...thoughts?

When that happens get up and move or drink some water or even take a warm bath. If the feeling subsides it's just Braxton Hicks. If not then it's labor. I had Braxton Hicks for the last 3 months of my 2nd pregnancy and that's how I could tell if it was BH or not. The day I delivered her I felt that way and none of the above made the feeling stop so I didn't eat anything and started timing things. They kept going and getting closer so I went in. Sure enough I was 4cm and in labor. Hour and a half later baby girl arrived (via section)
