E.p.t. test has dots in result window

Hi. I have been experiencing extremely tender breast for a little over a week and its about time for my period to start. So I took a pregnancy test. It was a e.p.t. + / - test. What I thought was really strange was that a bunch of very dots all over in the result window. Has anyone had this happen? Is something I should be concerned about?
