Glow word limit?

I was recently trying to respond to someone's topic about the right time to have a baby. Seeing as how I've just recently had this conversation myself, I had quite a lot to say. However, after typing my entry I got a response that said my submission was too long. Does anyone know if there's a word limit for posts? Most sites will have a word counter at the bottom that let's you know your limit. I've never seen one here, so I always assumed that it wasn't an issue.
