Multivitamins and prenatals?

Is it okay to take multivitamins and prenatels? I'm not pregnant but ttc.

It would be too many vitamins and your body would just flush them out. Some multi vitamins have the same content has prenatal you just have to look at the minerals and if it has sufficient folic acid. The rest of what you need as a multivitamin would be in your prenatal. If it's lacking something you can take an extra vitamin on the side like D or so but it would be too much to take them both

Thanks! I figured it was but didn't want to "overdose" on vitamins. I'm also taking vitex not that it probably would have any affect on taking multivitamins lol
