Clingy boyfriend

I've been dating my bf for 8months already. we have a healthy relationship I think. He's the sensitive one in the relationship. I'm the one that never expressed my feelings. He's always so loving to me and always tries to hang out as much as possible. Sometimes I do feel like he gets a bit clingy. I don't want to tell him this because like I said he's the sensitive one. Is this a bad thing?
