That's pretty far. Maybe your suction is turned up a bit? If it isn't painful then I would think that you are doing OK with it. If you feel any discomfort then turn it down a little. Maybe even change that cup out for a smaller size.

How is it without suction? It might be to big for your nipple, and that a smaller size flange will resolve the issue.
