OK so I have a friend that works at the same place I do, she just had her baby and our boss came to the hospital and gave her paper work saying she had to come back to work before her 12 weeks was up because she was off for 2 weeks before her daughter was born due to pre-eclampsia. This is my 4 th pregnancy I always dialate early and my ob takes me off work 2-3 weeks before I deliver. This is my last baby and I really want my 12 weeks off after baby is born. I've never had an issue with my employers giving me that time off. My question is can I take that 12 weeks after if I'm off a couple weeks before or do I literally only have that 12 weeks total? Cause with my last daughter I had to be on bedrest 4 weeks before she was born. Who do I talk to about this?
