Letrozole?

Question

I've been having irregular periods where I miss a month. But my flow is normal when I have it my doctor told me I could have a touch of PCOS so I'm getting tested for that. He prescribed me Letrozole to regulate my periods and help me get pregnant. Just curious if anyone has tried it and what happened?

Answer

It's not to regulate periods. It's to make sure you ovulate. Meaning if you don't get pregnant and still don't have a period then you'll just have to take it again. I took it for 3 cycles and I only had a period the first one but can't tell you if I even ovulated or not. My temps were whacky all the cycles I took it and I didn't get pregnant w it so he switched me back to Clomid.
