Does this mean I'm close!

Question

I'm 34-35 weeks (they are unsure about my due date) last night while I was at work I felt the baby literally drop. He was already dropped but this time he dropped even lower and I had immediate back pain!! And now I've had shooting pains in my vagaina (sorry tmi) I was just wondering does this mean labor is close? Still having horrible back pain

I hope for you it's not labor yet. It's too early! My son was born at 36 weeks and had to be in the NICU because he wasn't ready to be born.
Go get checked

Could still be weeks away but your close. Your Dr will be able to tell you if your cervix has changed at all. Should be having weekly checks now.

That's how I started out and when my back pain got too uncomfortable, it made me nervous. I went in just to get  checked and found out I was having contractions. Had my little guy that night. I would get checked if it doesn't go away.

I would have them check your cervix if your waters haven't broken yet. Good luck and happy labor!!!
