Wild Yam...Controversy

I've been taking wild yam for 2 months now and have noticed my period is delayed by 2 days. I've been reading up on more articles on wild yam and its been said it can help with conception when taken from the first day of your cycle till ovulation but if taken daily it'll act as a contraception.... Stressed out! I've also noticed since taking wild yam my cm is not like usual...much lighter. I've been using opk and haven't got a positive. So im throwing in the towel on that bad boy
