So, I am due late September and will be going back to work early/mid November. My husband and I are having a bit of a disagreement on childcare. I have found a private sitter who also watches my friend's two little ones and another child. I instantly felt right about her watching our son. My husband on the other hand thinks we should go with a daycare (he hasn't even met the possible sitter due to his work schedule). All of the daycares that I have called do not have openings for November in their infant room. They also are at least $20 or more per week than the private sitter. Their drop off times would also make me late for work everyday. I've already made a list of pros and cons to show him tonight but would love to hear from others as well. What did you go with and why? What would you do in my situation?
