Recently found out that am preg and we were both happy. Been dating for 2yrs and living together for 1year. I asked him if he will take the next step and propose etc and he said although he loves me, he is not sure. He said he is afraid of moving too fast and missing out on "something" whatever that is. He is 32 and financially stable. Any advise??

Wow that would piss me off to be honest. He's already committing the rest of his life to you by having a child with you so why would he doubt wanting to spend it together?

Maybe hes just afraid, what with the new pregnancy. I say give him some time. Maybe try talking about it again in a few months, so he has a chance to work through it first. 
That being said, i would not be able to manage that personally and would probably start a fight over my inability to let it go. But hopefully youll do better than me lol.

My husband didn't propose till after our was born. We wanted to make sure it wasn't about the baby. We have been married over a year now and we are happy. I don't regret waiting cause I know for sure we love each other and it wasn't cause I was pregnant

Marriage is just a public declaration of the commitment the two of you have already made to one another.  I would be more concerned that he said he was unsure than his resistance to marriage.  My husband and I cohabitated for 3 yrs before marriage, but we both knew we were with the person we'd spend the rest of our lives with, and we discussed it openly.

I just came from this very situation. My fiancé and I broke up for about 6 months because he wasn't sure he wanted to marry me but knew he loved me and wanted to have a kid. Before we broke up though, we were together just short 3 years. My fiancé was the one that begged me back when he realized that he really did love me and wanted a future with me. Maybe you need some separation.. I moved in with my fiancé really quickly when we initially first started dating, that would be my only regret.

My friend's bf refused to propose while she was pregnant. He did not want it to be about the baby, but about thier love for one another.  Three years after their daughter was born he proposed, and they got married a year later. I think you should talk to him about the plans for the future, especially with a baby on the way. Express how important it is to you to get married, but don't pressure him to propose to you right away. You two are going to spend the rest of your lives together, right? What is a few more years to wait for a proposal and wedding?

We have spoken about this a couple of time before and he always says the same thing. Broke up with him earlier this year and he came back saying he wants us to be "serious". Its really confusing and frustrating because he prioritizes me and does all those things a crazy in love guy does but when I ask him about commitment he gets cold feet! I am 4 weeks preg and feeling all emotional. He is sleeping at his friends place today cos I kicked him out. Maybe I over reacted but this is really frustrating!

And that is why you should wait to get married to get pregnant, so you at least have some type of security in your relationship to lean on. I am gonna be brutally honest: if he isn't willing to marry you now then he doesn't love you enough to do it. Right now he is in the position that if anything happens he can just fade away into an oblivion and leave you as a single mother taking care of everything. I really hope it works out for you.
