How did you feel after c-section?
Did you get headaches? 
How long did it took you to recover ?
Did you have any complications?

I've had 3 c-sections. One in 2004-2005-2010 and soon 2016.

Honestly it wasn't bad. They only pain I had was that air got trapped in me from the surgery. It got stuck up in my shoulders.... THAT was painful. Once they took my catheter and iv out, I walked around the halls and it went away. I was completely independent the day after my csection. My SIL on the other hand had to have her husband lower her onto the toilet, get her back up, and pull up her pants. A little bit ridiculous, tbh. Haha

I've had 3. #4 in December.

The best suggestion a nurse ever made was a pillow. Anytime you get up or trying rolling on you side, place the pillow over your stomach. Was a lifesaver for me.

The recovery after mine hurt quite a bit to be honest. Mine was at 25 weeks though and I lost my twins so it was very emotionally painful as well. But the week after sucked, getting in and out of bed as well as up and down on the toilet hurt pretty bad. I have a high pain tolerance but that really really stung! Unfortunately because she had to do a classical c section I'll always have to have one with birth. Such a bummer to me.

My c section was emergency in 2014, but no complications, I was walking the next day (yes it hurts and pulls but moving is VERY important!!!) I had no gas or air pain and had a bowl movement that day so I got to eat : ) . I only took low does painkillers when needed, initially after surgery they gave me a shot of morphine and I flipped crap on the staff because they didn't tell me what they were giving me and I DO NOT take or react well to morphine because of my anxiety problem lol. I also didn't need it so it was overkill. 
My serious advice if your having a c section as uncomfortable and (somewhat) painful as it is WALK to the bathroom on your own if it's safe for you to do so, it helps so much initially (helps your bowls start working again) and with your healing process!!!

I'm not sure I agree with all of this article, but it's a good read as to what to expect. Over all it's not that bad. Getting up and down hurts at first but I'm doing it again, so it couldn't have been that bad :)

C-section in 2010 I was walking around the next day I was fine .did not take the pains meds after day 1 .I was driving 6 days after c-section .in hospital for four days due to my diabetes .I enjoyed it .i still wished I got to push her out but that did not happen.

Had a planned c/s in early 2012. Baby was breech. Lots of pillows and ice packs in the hospital for 5 days. I chose not to use the drugs every 10 min but every 4 hrs (you push a button that releases it into your iv). Wanted least amt of drugs in my system since I was bf-ing. Didn't take many narcotics at home either. Anyway, was it pain but got through it just fine. Was walking around at home no problem. Don't remember if I got headaches.

I was exhausted after my 1st c section, which was an emergent c section. They also gave me anti nausea meds which caused me to be nauseous and vomit. The anesthesia also caused me to shake uncontrollably. However  , after all was said and done it was worth it to see my beautiful baby 😊

Sorrrrreeee and helpless for a good week. Needed help at home for another 3 weeks but I healed without any worries. No headaches...that may be due to not enough water
