Does testing first thing in the morning vs afternoon or night really matter?

I know your first pee of the day with have more HCG but does it make so big of a difference that in the AM you'll get a positive and at night you'll get a negative if the pregnancy is still early?

My boyfriend told me that it did but on the paper that came with the test it said something about if you're period is over a week late then it doesn't matter. I could be wrong though.

Mine was done at night, but it was suuuper positive so I wasn't testing before my period was due.

Yes it's best in the morning

If you are testing early, you have a greater concentration of the hcg hormone in your urine first thing in the morning.  But that is because you probably havent urinated in several hours.  If you can hold it for at least 4 hours, the concentration is the same.

Some cases yes. But every pregnancy test ive taken were in the afternoon or night time. And they came true
