Preg. - flying - xray machine?

I'm flying today and just realized they do the xray machine thing in security. Im assuming this is not safe for baby... Do I just ask for some alternative search? Im 18w and nou obviously showing yet so I'll have to say something.

Just say, I'd like to forgot the xray as I'm pregnant. They'll let you go around and use the wand on you.
