Noticing EWCM after unprotected sex

does this mean I'm safe....? might be a stupid question. I also posted in the TMI section because I'm unsure if it was cervical mucus or leftover semen from yesterday, I've noticed sometimes they can look similar. But about how long after EWCM do you usually ovulate? I actually don't know if this is the first day of it because it's the only time I've checked recently.
