Positive pregnancy & ovulation test 2 weeks after D&C??

I had a D&C for a missed miscarriage 2 weeks ago. This morning my husband finished inside me (unplanned) and just for interests sake I took a OTK. 
The OTK came up positive so I took a hpt just too see if I still had a HCG level. It came up positive too...
I know that when HCG is still present you can get a positive OTK from that but I have read that some women have gotten pregnant with these test results... Anyone heard of this or experienced this????

My RE doctor told me that you become pre-ovulatory once your HCG drops below 200. Meaning you will ovulate in 4-7 days from that time. So, I still have a little HCG in me but according to ultrasound and blood work, I am getting ready to ovulate. My D&C was just over 2 weeks ago. And I was 8weeks pregnant.

I would call your doctor. I had a miscarriage last week and was told that I should repeat the hpt the day after i started bleeding and if it was still positive I should call her back for repeat labs because it should be negative at that point. I think this all depends on how far along you were though and what your hcg levels were to begin with. I would still place a call into her and find out of its normal. Good luck!
