Birth control (bleeding)

So I'm on the implant and I've been on it for over 2 years now. And I'm constantly on my period and it's so very heavy that the Red Cross is crying. I'm probably going to switch. Can anyone recommend the ring, the patch, or pills for this problem? I did go to my doctor about this problem and they gave me pills for a month to try and regulate it and it worked for that month. But I'm scared about forgetting the pill every month.
