I have a question. Is it true that after you hear the heart beat, the chance of miscarriage drops significantly? We heard the heart beat on Friday and we are wondering if we can relax a little now.

I think my doctor told me it goes from 20% before heartbeat to 3% after hearing heartbeat. He said that's the lowest it goes through your pregnancy. It was reassuring for us because we had a miscarriage in January.

Really 13 weeks is when your first trimester is over when your in the clean but my doctor told me after 8 weeks that I should be good.
