It may not be cheating but whatever it is he obviously knows how you're going to react and judging by his reaction it would be a very bad situation. It sounds like if you found whatever was on there you'd leave him. So I'd demand an explanation. And it better be the truth. Cheating or not, whatever it was, was enough for you to leave him. Find out and decide if you can work through it or be better off separating ways. Honesty is crucial in a relationship. This spells disaster waiting to happen. Could be cheating. But maybe don't jump to conclusions. I have to ask, is your birthday soon? An anniversary? Something like that? When my ex and I were together I was not allowed creeping through his phone around our anniversary, my birthday, or Christmas so I didn't ruin surprises. Maybe he's planning something :)
