Pelvic rest?

Who else got put on pelvic rest? Why? How long?

I am 16 weeks pregnant and got put on pelvic rest because I had some bleeding for no reason what so ever. We have saw my baby three times since I was put on pelvic rest and it seems to be really healthy. My cervixs is long like it should be and everything looks normal. Not really sure why she put me on pelvic rest. She also didn't tell me for how long?

Did anyone else get put on pelvic rest for this reason? How long did you have to wait before you could have sex again?

I was put on pelvic rest at 11 weeks they said my placenta was low and I need to stay on pelvic rest until my placenta moves ( if it does)

I was put on pelvic rest at 11 weeks due to a bleed.  The ultrasound showed I have complete placenta previa.  They're doing scans every 4 weeks so hopefully the placenta moves and they'll take me off of pelvic rest.  If they didn't do an ultrasound or give you huge specifics, I'd say they might be thinking you have some form of placenta previa or are possibly just being cautious in keeping your cervix from being irritated and causing more bleeding somewhere.

I am 12 weeks and was put on pelvic rest til next ultrasound at 18 weeks. I had some light spotting and Dr did an ultrasound and I have partial placenta previa... He is hoping It moves out the way as I get further along... Call and ask if your not sure why.... Sometimes Dr s won't tell you if you have partial placenta previa because they don't want to worry you bc the chances of moves is good... I would definitely call and ask...keep us updated.

I did for bleeding at around 8 weeks they told me two weeks from any spotting no sex no orgasms it wound up being a month :(
