Difference between flutters and kicks?

Hi ladies, am just curious if I'll know the difference between movement/flutters from little bub and kicks? Is it a strong feeling? I can feel little one being more active but can't say whether it's anything more than 'stronger movements'! I'm currently 21 weeks x

The first time I felt a flutter I thought I had to fart 😂😂 sorry to be so explicit but yes. Then one day I put some music on and then I felt a hard kick down on my lower stomach area and I didn't know if that was her or my weird body. Then I kept playing the music and she did it 2 more times

I get three different sensations. The first was the fluttery sensation that could be mistaken for gas, but I knew it wasn't. Then I started feeling a wave or rolling motion, and now I am feeling jabs. They are all so weird to me as a FTM.

You will absolutely know the difference. I started feeling flutters at 17w5d and I felt my first real kick at 20w exactly. They get stronger and stronger by the day now. Last night they were making me jump! This morning while driving into work they were super strong as well! This morning I thought I was going to pee myself because he was kicking my bladder! Haha!

I actually never felt flutters, I went straight into feeling kicks when I was 20 weeks and they have only grown stronger since then.

Thanks for all your comments, I had one really strong movement yesterday that felt higher than usual so wondered if a leg had been kicked up or something but will hopefully start to feel it more over the coming weeks and then I'll know for sure 😊I'm getting excited about little bub growing each week but I also love hearing all your stories and developments too! ❤️

I never got flutters. It felt like popcorn and pokes around 17 weeks.

I've not got a clue if I have had any flutters yet, I keep getting these tight sensations at night and then wee I feel the tightness it's a hard ball, I'm guessing it's her moving at night. I'm 18+1 weeks with a girl x

Nearly 23 weeks myself. There is a definite difference. It'll really take you by surprise, and you may actually see it on the outside of your tummy.

Yeah, they'll get stronger. It just gradually happens. I'm 29w and can tell the difference between movement and kicks, but I don't remember exactly when it happened.
