I was recently admitted for hydronephrosis of my right kidney. It's basically just swollen and causing a lot of pain. I was released last Tuesday with Tramadol for pain. This weekend I was experience SO much more pain. Called the doctor and he said to double the dose, so I did. It still had no affect on me. I ended up in the hospital again and they just threw me into L&D even though I explained that I was not in labor. (I'm 20 weeks with twins) L&D never called my doctor and basically said I'm not in labor, go home and suck it up. This pain is literally the absolute WORST I've ever felt. They said my ureter is contracting like I had a kidney stone. Anyways, I've left two messages for my office, one at 9am and one at 130pm and still have no reply on what to do. I'm getting extremely frustrated at this point. I feel like they're just ignoring me. I really don't want to go back to the ER again. Has anyone dealt with this?! What should I do about the office?!
