When should i find a doctor???

Silly question, I know. But when should I find a doctor to confirm my pregnancy? I'm not really sure how to go about all of this. I don't really have anyone to ask.

I'd definitely find an OB soon, some it takes awhile to get worked in if your not an established patient.  Also a call to your general care Dr. Would be a good idea, they can give you recommendations.  Most obs want to see you between 8-12 weeks.  Hope you find a great one :)

As soon as you can so they can start providing you with your prenatal vitamins.  I called to make an appointment to confirm if I was pregnant and once they confirmed they told me to make an appt with my OB.  And made sure they prescribed me with prenatal..  My ob appointment is July 8th .. Hope this helps.  Congrats  btw :)

I was so slow on this...I finally called my midwife after a week and a half and told them I was scheduling a 8 week appt (I'm 5.5 weeks now). She was like "ummm we usually schedule as soon as possible". I still scheduled out, I'm in no rush bc I had a mc at 5-6 weeks and already had been to two spots before the mc, so it was pretty hard on me. So I will see them at 7 weeks.

You can go to your primary care physician or planned parenthood to confirm pregnancy, but contact an Obgyn as soon as you can.
