So I turn 18 in January and I graduate high school in may , right now I love in Illinois.. But with everything that's happened in Chicago lately I don't really feel safe.. I stay up all night bc I'm always paranoid :/ .. So I want to move out in June 2016 w/ my bf and if rather go to Colorado first bc my dad lives out there .. I'll feel safer, but my aunt lives in California.. The rest of the stated I put bc I've visited there and it seems like ferny l decent places, what should I do? Where should I move ?

I guess it just depends California isn't very safe but depends on where u live. Iv heard Colorado is a very nice beautiful place to live

Go where ur dad is and family , changes everything . I voted florida before I saw that, but that changes everything .

I live in Colorado and it's not all its cracked up to be. It's not so safe here. Denver is really bad and Springs has a lot going on too... even the small town I lived in (4,000 people) experienced brutal murders, sexual assaults, and pretty much anything else you can name. Anywhere you live will have its own set of problems.

I live in florida. Its a great pleace to live....if you have family/friends here. Getting assistance is very difficult and housing is very expensive. Also its a hire at will state so u can be fired at anytime without reason. Its almost impossible to prove thats they fired you for an illegal reason (ie pregnancy, race, sexual orientation ect)

I live in Colorado, it's a great place and there are some really good schools. If you're interested in knowing more feel free to ask anything I've lived here for 21 years (I'm 24 now and turned 3 a month after the move to Denver)
