Missing your partner while he/she is away

A couple weeks ago I was visiting a friend and she said something that really irritated me. We were just talking about how my husband is starting a new career and I kind of started thinking out loud and told her that I'd have to get used to him being away at work and that I'd miss him. When I said that her tone completely changed from friendly to scolding. She said I needed to learn to get over it like there was something wrong with me for missing him.

This friend of mine is a bit older than me (I'm 27, she's 40) and because of that she thinks I'm an idiot with no life experience and knows how to live my life better than I do. I've always just let it go and tried not to let her behavior bother me, but these comments suggesting I'm too clingy or have some sort of issue because I miss my husband when he's away have made me kind of lose interest in being her friend. How would you feel?
