Mini crib??

Question

I'm currently living with my grandparents and my bedroom is very tiny! I literally have room for my bed and a pack and play. I do not feel very comfortable having my baby sleep in a pack and play every night as I don't feel there is quite enough back support for continuous support like that. I recently just discovered that there's such a thing as a mini crib! Lol I am amazed but know nothing about them. Do any of you? Are they about the same size as a pack an play? Any suggestions on brands? Etc.

I am using a pack and play for the first two or three months with my daughter because we are so cramped. We are staying with my in laws right now and our room is 10x12. We also have a 18 month old in there too! We have him in a toddler bed, our bed, and then we'll set up the pack and play. Atleast I won't have to go far to get the baby in the middle of the night lol

Also you could do a bassinet for the first few months-they take up no space at all

We have the DaVinci emily mini crib and it was an amazing decision!! I swear it takes up less room then the pack and play because so many of those have extended sides due to rounding or an added changing table or other feature. The back support on pack n plays isn't great once baby starts to grow. That being said the mattress that comes with the mini crib, is very thin and not at all supportive. We bought a mattress off amazon at the same time when we read that, great decision! Technically you are only supposed to use the mini crib for about 6 months although a lot of reviews I read used it until they moved their child to a regular bed( it's not recommended though). Lastly, sheets are different and unless you live in a bigger city with lots of options, you will most likely need to order them online as well. Good luck!

I saw some at babies r us and at Burlington coat factory and just think they are a fantastic idea. It's not like the baby needs a ton of room!

I think they are basically the same size as a pack n play. Does your pack n play have the sleeper attachment thing?
