I think it's great. My sister as well as my husband's sister have fertility issues and we would both be willing to donate both eggs and sperm. That way they would both be able to grant children that are genetically related to them.

My friend couldn't get pregnant and had very low egg reserve/quality her sister donated her eggs for IVF, instead of a strangers donor eggs.  I thought it was really nice of her.  So to me it isn't any different than anonymous donor egg or sperm, except that you actually get to be related biologically to your child.  Obviously a brother wouldn't be donating to his biological sister right? But to his sister in law, for his brother? I don't see anything wrong with it.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It's no different than my sister offering to carry my children if I couldn't get pregnant. But, neither of our brothers should ever reproduce anyway. Both in their 30's, living at home, and neither know how to take care of themselves.
