My family hates my husband.

What would you do if your family hated your husband? I'm so sick of their comments. My mother even told me once that the day we got married was the darkest day in the family. My husband's family adores me. I'm a very quiet natured person but I'm almost to the point where I'm going to lose it at a family member if they don't stop with the rude comments. I love my husband very much. We're best friends, we are each other's rock. We have a beautiful 2 year old daughter together. I'm almost to my breaking point. The reasons they hate him are, in my opinion, ridiculous. (To give you an idea of what my husband is like, he is kind of like Sheldon from TBBT only he absolutely does NOT shy away from intimacy;) ). At any rate, I apologize for this poorly written post. I just need others input.
