Ectopic Pregnancy #2

Vanessa

I had my first ectopic pregnancy in January of 2011 - emergency C-section due to a ruptured tube.

Two weeks ago my fiance and I found out we were pregnant, got the blood confirmation and was told it was too early for an ultrasound. Even given my medical history.

Today we had our first ultrasound, it was supposed to be tomorrow but I have had spotting for two weeks and it kept goong back and forth so the doctors squeezed me in an appointment. After a long drawn out process of four hours, we were told that I needed to come back because I haf another ectopic pregnancy.

This is the second pregnancy I've had, both being in the tube. And I'm just wondering, how many women have gone through this also? How many have also later on in life, had a successful pregnancy after multiple ectopics? The doctors can't seem to find a reason for this, and I'm only 24. I was told that if I got pregnant again after the first one, the second one should be smooth sailing .... and it wasn't.
