Would you vote to make Marriage Equality illegal?

I know this horse has been beat to death but I have a serious question. How many would vote to make Marriage Equality illegal based on personally held religious beliefs? In doing so, would you be effecting God given free will? By this I mean, I see argument that God gave us free will to make choices, even if they might be biblically wrong, would same sex marriage not be one of those choices? In addition, why should personally held religious beliefs and opinions be legislated since not everyone partakes of the same religion, holy texts, God's or religion at all?
