Confused a bit!

Veronica
Yesterday I went in for a doctors appointment and the doctor brought his handheld ultrasound machine in and did a quick scan of the babies. They are sitting right next to each other now. When I was 7 weeks 1 day they were far apart. He said that they are in the same amniotic sac. So I go back on the 23rd to see if they share a placenta. What are the odds that they don't share one? There is also no membrane between them

My babies are side by side a lot, but they have a membrane between them, they have lots of room to move around in there

You could! Sometimes it takes time! It's all going to be okay no matter what they are, your dr will take any precautions needed. I truly hope you find one!!

I hope it's healthy too. Maybe we will see a membrane next appointment? But it's just weird that they were on opposite sides at my last ultrasound and now they are side by side.

If they share an amniotic sac they have to share a placenta.... Mono/mono (same amniotic sac) and mono/di (same gestational sac, a membrane, and 2 amniotic sacs) both share a placenta. They won't have 2

No it's a little bit more high risk than a mono/di, but nothing you can't handle :) babies can still be healthy and good to go! I am having mono/di. Sometimes the membrane just hides for a bit
