5w5d... smells making you nauseous?

Question

I'm right around 5w5d (first doc appt is on Thursday) and tonight I noticed; my husband made tuna melts and the smell of the tuna melt cooking made me gag. I can't barely be in the room next to him.

Anyone else having any smell issues; not necessarily a stronger sense of smell... mainly smells that make you feel like puking? I've noticed my gag reflex is super high too...

The first thing that made me nauseous was the smell of alcohol. My husband and I went to his buddy's appt, his buddies had been drinking then we got in our car to go eat ..once the smell of alcohol consumed the car, I instantly felt nauseous! Then a few weeks ago, my husband was frying fish for dinner and it made me nauseous from a room away.

10+5 today & eggs & cheese make me want to puke!! Not just the smell, but the sight & thought of them make me want to vomit!! 😂

Pre-pregnancy, I was a coffee addict! But early pregnancy I couldn't stand the smell of coffee! It was weird. And even the thought of eating rice made me feel sick! Haha it has no smell or anything, but my family eats a lot of rice and I couldn't touch it or even think about it too hard for at least a few weeks. So happy to be in the second trimester! Life feels good again...hoping it lasts

I couldn't smell, look at or even eat anything for the first 12 weeks! Nothing! I lost sooooo much weight but I'm 18 weeks now and I finally just got back up to my weight before pregnancy. When I was able to eat again, I made up for all the time lost lol

5w2d today, can't do anything with peanut butter, just the thought makes me want to gag...brushing my teeth has been a struggle to hold the upchuck as well! Lol can't complain though! We are blessed!

Yep! 6 weeks and 1 day. But I've been having aversions to certain foods for awhile now. Esp chicken. It smells bad and tastes different than it used to! I'm pretty consistently nauseous every day now regardless of food scents and tastes :(

I couldn't eat anything. Even saltines were repulsive. I Had to carry around a sliced lemon with me everywhere to help sooth my constant gag reflex. I was like that from week 5 to week 14. 😶
