My boyfriend and I have been together almost a year. He and I have had a great relationship (of course with the usual little fights). I bring up marriage sometimes and and he always tells me that he wants to marry me but wants it to be the "perfect time". The other night we were talking about our money situation and when we planned on paying off certain things (his two motorcycles). He had been talking about buying a boat since we got together. So he kind of timelined everything when we had this "talk" about finances.. He wants to pay off the more expensive bike first then the other bike then he wants to look into buying a boat. Mind you we live comfortable but still paycheck to paycheck. I asked him where does an engagement fit into the plan and he said "I don't know but trust me it will happen" he started chuckling "when the perfect time happens"... It honestly made me feel like all these" wants" are coming before me.. Maybe I'm being selfish but I feel like we should be getting engaged pretty soon seeing how we are ttc and all.. What do y'all think!?
