If the technician didn't say anything it is most likely a refraction of the ultrasound...so a glitch.

Well the lining on top is supposed to be your pacenta. Because I asked the technician one time when they were doing my ultrasound. But I haven't seen one like this before. Maybe your lining is just different. Best of luck to you.
