Induction without meds?

Question

Any Mommas out there have to be induced and was able to go without getting the epidural? I was told with induction it's more painful and your prone to getting the epidural
More. Just wondering if anyone has beat that and gone as natural as they can

I had both my boys by induction and did it naturally with out any pain med. 😊

Thanks ladies gives me hope that if I do end up being induced next Friday that I can do this without the epidural. I'm just hoping little man decides to come on his own.

I did it! Was induced with foley bulb and pitocin and didn't get the epidural. I think it's especially easy if its your first baby because you don't have anything to compare the pain to.

I was induced with Cytotec and loads of Pitocin and delivered without epidural or any pain meds. You can do it!

I had my first two kids natural with no epidural but my last baby I was induced I didn't feel any contractions up to 7 after that the pain was so unbearable that I had to get the epidural I got the epidural at about 2:30pm and that was a wonderful relief my son arrived at 6:27 pm I only pushed once and he was out.

I've been induced twice and had an epidural each time, both failing but second got adjusted. It was incredibly painful and I had a death grip on the bed rails. This is surprising because I feel like I have a high pain tolerance. But I did I it! Once you're in the moment, you just focus more on that baby getting out and seeing them! Hopefully I didn't freak you out 😁 just wanted to share my experience.

I haven't personally but there are a few people I've read their birth stories and they've done it, mind over matter type thing, it's also possible to be induced without pitocin and just have them break your water

I was induced with one child and not with the other. Both, no epidural, no meds. Exactly the same amount of pain.  In fact the one I wasn't induced with might have been more painful....

My induction happened quickly. I started getting contractions right off the bat. I went the whole night from 4 pm to 4am without meds cause the nurses were waiting to give me a pill that won't take the pain away, just help me sleep. I never swore, just cried a ton cause of the pain. Plus I was hooked up to multiple machines cause I had gestational diabetes so it made my stat more uncomfortable. Unbeknownst to me my water broke but i thought it was me needing to pee every 5 seconds. All of a sudden while I was in the process of getting the epidural( I never got to receive the actual medication, just had the needle in my spine) I had the huge sudden urge to push. Everyone dropped everything and set the room up. My baby was on her way while they were lifting my feet into the stirrups. I had to wait for my doc to get there which I was mad cause it felt like forever! But again I was just in tears. Then while the doc was delivering Marceline, I got a 4th degree because she came out in swimmers position( both arms above the head)
