Need advice :(

Mother took me shopping to Maurices a while back and this lady tried to get me to sign up for maurices card, which I thought was like a point card (which is also how she explained it) but months later relize it was a credit card! And i've been getting phone calls saying I owe them hundreds of dollars??? I haven't even used it, I don't have it 😪😪 I don't know what to do and i'm scared. I've never had a credit card or debt like this before, it went from like 150 to 500 in three months, it's so steep and gaining fast, there is no way I can pay it, especially since I got layed off, I didn't even want it. I hate credit cards and have been against them from the start
