Insurance. Help?!

Question

I don't have any insurance, I live with my parents a few days a week and the rest with my fiancé or grandmother. I'm getting married September 19.. And neither of our jobs offer insurance. I'm currently 15 weeks... So here is my question, who or where is the best place to go to get maternity insurance?! 
We don't make a ton but We do have about 600$ left over after all our payments are paid.   I'm 20.

Maybe medicaid but it depends on how much you make and if you make too much I hear blue cross is great as well
I've never had blue cross but I know a lot of people who do and it's reasonable prices with great help with great doctors

Apply for medicaid at your local social services office as well as apply for WIC. Your SO might not qualify but because you are pregnant you will qualify. If you make enough money they will just make you pay like CO payments similar to regular insurance, if your Financials show you don't make enough you won't have any payments or Co pay.

I'm sure where u live they should have a clinic for low income families or free clinics. Not saying your low income but it never hurts to call and ask. Maybe u can even qualify for prenatal medicaid, I did qualify so u never know. Good luck

Your best bet is Medicaid. Also I just found out from this amazing app that if you ask your OB for a prescription for a breast pump you take it into a medical warehouse like NORCO and they bill it to your insurance and you get a pump for free!!! I'm pretty excited about this because I lost my Ameda breast pump and was devastated about having to buy a new one, but now I get a free Medela pump!!

A midwife is normally considerably less and works with you on payments. I'm having my third child with a midwife and have been very happy!

Your best bet is getting a maternity Medicaid or state funded insurance if you can qualify. Getting insurance now, that you're already pregnant is going to be super expensive and possibly look at the pregnancy as a pre-existing condition and not cover it. Good luck.
