Gender and cravings?

Question

So I heard that it's "possible" to predict your baby's gender based on what your craving. Apparently savory cravings mean boy and sweet mean girl. I know I have been hardcore craving onion rings, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes and gravy! Maybe it means boy??? But then again I just finished off a pint of Hagen daas Lol  I was just curious (for fun!) if anyone has noticed that to be true :)

My first all I wanted was fast food fries, especially with cheese.  Chips and junk food.  And I had a boy. Second pregnancy all I wanted was ALL the sweets.  I would eat pudding cups with oreos and bake brownies to eat with ice cream. I needed multiple layers of sweetness. Turned out to be a girl.  So I had very stereotypical cravings with them. This time around its all over the place so I have no idea what to think!

I've heard the same things! I had a burning desire for milk and fast food burgers (barf, ew ew ew) with my first - a son. This time around, I CANNOT STOP THINKING ABOUT DESSERTS. And I've NEVER been a sweets person. Remains to be seen, I guess!

Don't think true.  With my son I craved candy like no other. Then fruit!

If this is true, then my daughter should've been a boy. I craved subway and sour candy and root beer. This pregnancy I'm craving the same sorts of things, but I think it's a boy.

Before I had ever been pregnant, I hated cake, and wasn't a big sweet person. I got pregnant and started eating cake for breakfast, ice cream everyday, chocolate... And I had a girl! This time I've had no cravings so far.. I'm 7w3d today so we'll see if I develop any cravings!

I noticed with my first I did crave meat in the beginning , pineapple and ice cream. And I had a boy . This one around I'm craving sweets a lot . So I'm curiously if it's true too :)
