Anyone else Feeling guilty about having a baby after miscarriage???

I'm dealing with a new emotion. I had a miscarriage March 3rd 2014 it took my body 4 months to release everything such a terrible experience for me:( Im finally trying again this will be my 3rd month trying to get pregnant. I've been feeling guilty about getting pregnant Again I feel I'm replacing the baby I should of had:( I don't want to forget no matter how tiny that was my baby:) I made this in honor of my baby

It's alright to feel that way. Just know you have that memorial and the baby you lost will never be forgotten. When you have your precious baby, tell them about their older sibling and let them know. A friend lost one baby, then had her daughter and has recently lost another baby, but she tells her daughter about her other siblings. So it's not replacing them, you can never replace them.

You will never forget and its ok to try again . We had A miscarriage last December . I'm now 30 weeks 5 days . My due date for the other is on Wednesday and we will as a family honor the one we lost by planting something in our yard .

I'm pregnant again after miscarrying in February. I should still be pregnant with Helen and today when I went for my ultrasound, I was happy but I couldn't shake the thought of "this is the wrong baby...I should've waited until after Helen's due date". Let yourself feel your feelings and do things in your own time. There will be mixed emotions.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, I too am a mother of an angel. And although because my son was 18w 3days in the womb and I had to deliver him at the hospital...no matter how big or small you still carried a human LIFE in side of you. And what youre feeling are all the struggles of emotions related to miscarriage/infant loss if even years later that likely arise. They're unavoidable and natural instinct of the mother in you. It's now been over a year since I lost my son and just passed what would have been his first birthday. The biggest piece of advice I ever received from someone who too lost a child and moved forward with other children later on was to not try for another too soon because the more overwhelming those emotions would feel and they completely take away from enjoying and valuing your pregnancy to the fullest and giving your 100% attention and focus on a new pregnancy. I am going thru it as well now as we speak, but I try and take those feelings as a reminder to turn them into positive thinking like doing the tiny little things I didn't get to do with my first pregnancy n wish I had the chance to..it makes me appreciate things even more actually. But your heart will always have a place that aches for your child that will never go away.

You are completely normal. You should not have to and will not ever forget. I had a miscarriage about 18 years ago. I still think of that baby, how old it would be, and if I did something wrong. Good luck trying to conceive and I love the collage.

So sorry for your loss.you are going to think about what could have been it is normal, but you are not replacing your angel. There is nothing wrong with wanting to continue your baby making journey. God will give you your rainbow baby. And your angel will always be with you.

I have had the same feeling since my miscarriage in 2011. I feel guilty with talking with my husband about planning when we want kids and names for them. My miscarriage happened in a previous relationship, but he knows every detail and the circumstances. It's not easy, and he's obviously not insanely intuitive, so I hide my discomfort and internal battle when we talk about these things. I plan on utilizing the fleet and family support to get some short term counseling on the issue. I qualify since I am active duty, USN. I would recommend doing something similar for yourself.

Making the keepsake for your baby boy was a brilliant idea. I did something similar that helped me move past the hurt and self blame for losing my baby girl. I made a scrap book and a special page just for her and in my journal I have a letter I wrote to her which I will put into the scrapbook on that page.

I'm sorry for your loss and I am really here if you want some advice or to listen. I love helping people with similar struggles. And I can shut up if you just want an ear!!!!
