Did your water break in an embarrassing place?

I have this fear that my water is going to dramatically break in an extremely public place so I just though I'd ask what everyone's horror stories are to feed my fear 😂

No but I was in Walmart so much that I totally thought it would break there

Lol its not like in the movies (which was my fear) most women don't actually have theirs break before getting to the hospital but some do, mine didn't tell I was already at the hospital because of 5 min apart contractions. If it does break it's going to feel like you accidentally peed a little so you will run to the bathroom then realize it's like a slow leak that's not letting up. Basically if you have had the sneeze and peed a little that will be what it will start out like except you can't hold it in.

I just had my labor class today and was told only 10% of women have thier water break before they feel labor/contractions. Like other women said, it's not a gush unless something is wrong.

I was in my car, luckily it wasn't a huge gush. It was more like leaking, I definitely needed several towels to get me through the ride to the hospital.

Mine broke while at work, but it was a slow leak so no one knew until I told them.

No, but I was embarrassed, I thought I peed myself nurse told me "oh no, hunny your water just broke". Me, "ewww". Lol ( I was 17 no clue what was going on)
