Some background, I was married 5 years, my ex-husband told me we'd have kids after being married a few years. Well as time went on and I was ready, he changed his mind and no longer wanted kids. This and many other reasons later I left him.

Moving on to my fiancé, who is my best friend, I've known him since childhood and he adores me... well he said he'd never though of having kids until we got together. I told him, I want a kid (maybe 2...) and that's non negotiable, you're either in or out. So he's ok with having kids but he's not excited about it. He's just along for the ride.

Sorry for the long post. I just wish he was excited. I don't want to force him, and I don't want to end up like my previous marriage. Ugh. Just needed to get that off my chest! Any advice ladies?
